New Book Idea

Interestingly enough I've had a very viable idea for a book. Woman's marriage ends and she contemplates what life would be like with another woman. Purely investigative. Interviews her lesbian friend and with great quote from Caesar about being awake vs being asleep in our lives = very appropriate by the way for most people = she pursues this idea of writing this book: No MSG.

Caesar quote: I have to find this quote but the idea is that in our lives often in times of turmoil we "sleep" and refuse to be awake...like some event,work, twist of fate will awaken us, and we act, yet, if still asleep we refuse to act: leave a bad marriage, take a new job, move on in a realtionship...

So in this book, the protagonist takes a case in which someone has stolen $$$ from an old man and the investigator finds clues pointing to the old man's daughter and this opens a window into the investigator's relationship with her father.


As the story progresses, our protagonist finds herself alone and wondering if perhaps a lesbian relationship would be better than a heterosexual one. She begins [as an investigator would] to interview her lesbian friends...to ascertain info to help her decide....

Sex n City 2

What a hoot! Over the top? Yes!!! Wonderful to see with friends? Absolutely. "Lawrence of my Labia" over the top. Went with Marilyn, Cheri, Elaine, Kim, Susan, and Kathleen...followed by a sumptuous dinner at Bravo. Marilyn and I had cosmos, of course,...I had two bc the movie is all about excess and indulgences...not always a plus but still great time watching the movie...lol funny, poignant for women, and true of relationships. LOVE!

AP Reading [Really AP Grading]

Heading out to Louisville, KY, and looking forward to the Galt House, Brown Hotel ect. Will post pictures: there are fish swimming in the aquarium bar at the Galt House: better there than around Florida at this time.

Hoping to grade lots of essays for Q2 but I never know which of the three AP Lang& Comp questions I will be assigned to...wow Kevin Costner bought the patten to and invested millions in it as well....that separates oil and water....and the government isn't interested?

Summer Movies a Com'in /Book will begin

Really excited about Sex and the City2 as well as Eat, Pray, and Love with Julia Roberts. Saw Bounty Hunter today and know this summer project will be to write ...time to write for others...great story: married, left husband, moved to Hills of Brown County and lived alone for ~5 years in a log cabin high on a hill [no symbolism there?!?!?!...] Watch for posts
